With reference to my despatch No. 3 of the

2nd instant, I have the honour to report that intelli-

gence has been received from the Captain General of

the Philippine Islands of the final submission of

those few insurgents who remained in erms after the

arrival of Aguinaldo and his companions at Hong Kong.
